Does anyone know how to create an XML output and validate it in the same top level map?

While you are designing the map, you could use the output tree in another map to make sure you have all required fields, but I am not sure why this would be needed in production. How big is the the output file? Have you used the map profiler and paging tools to optimize the maps?
