    Hello,
    I converted a v5.1 Applinx application to v8.2. Every entity comes up with this message at the top of the screen:

    “The repository of this application is read only. It is therefore not possible to edit entities”

    I’ve checked the properties of the .gxar file (this is on Windows XP), and it is NOT set to ‘read only’. How can I change this file so it can be edited?

    Hi Robert,

    When you import a GXAR file, an ApplinX application is created with an XML based repository (GXZ). This repository is read only. In order to be able to edit your entities, change the database type in the ApplinX application properties.
