Hi, could someone help if they have tried a solution to the problem earlier?

DMGR is crashed due to some issues and not recoverable and don't have backup either. there is one node which is in working state with the dmgr. as the dmgr not available nodeagent operations are not working. Is there a way, I can convert this nodeagent to a standalone application server which will retain its configuration rather building everyhing from scratch. Its currently running on WAS 6.1. thank you for your inputs.

Unfortunately, If you try to unfederate the node frm the DMGR it will revert back to how the app server was before you federated it to the cell. So most likely all of your applications and other confirgurations will be gone.

thanks.  i had to defederate and federate to a new dmgr. yes that's correct during the defederation cluster and application server configuration is lost. cluster and application server is created after the federation.
