  • 1.  Control Remove and factory reset

    Posted Thu October 17, 2024 11:22 AM
    Good morning/afternoon/night!

I would like some help in a certain situation, some time ago I removed two Samsumg A03 from the controller but they didn't complete the request and I didn't realize it in time and I did a hard reset... and now I got two smartphones stuck on the configuration screen because it's asking the Google user account, as I didn't remember the Google account password I reset it, but even after the reset the system still doesn't recognize the access.
    Can someone help me?

    Hi Leonardo

I had the exact same situation with a phone which got bricked because I tried to use a 2nd Google ID within 24 hours and it locked the phone completely for security, apparently this is a Google measure.

Google Support told me to contact Samsung Support directly for this and I have to send the phone in for Samsung to wipe it.

Suggest you do the same as options are limited. You may be able to get Samsung Support through your device reseller or else just go to samsung.com/support and request from there.

    Best

    Thank You Eamonn!

Do you know if Motorola does the same service? Sorry for the late reply, i was a little lost in the Comunnity portal!

    Hi

I haven't had an experience with Lenovo devices so wouldn't know unfortunately.

I suggest you contact Lenovo Support to discuss.

I ran into the same issue on one of our devices. I was able to resolve it by using the Android recovery mode and factory resetting the phone. Was no Samsung though so I am not sure if you can do that as well.

    1. Turn off the device.
    2. Press and hold the power and volume-down buttons at the same time.
    3. Use the volume buttons to select recovery mode, and then press the power button to activate that option.
    4. Use the volume buttons to choose Wipe data/factory reset and then activate the option with the Power button.

I've encountered a similar issue, though slightly different, with a Samsung Galaxy A32. After performing a hard reset and removing it from the controller, I found myself stuck on the Google verification screen (FRP lock). In my case, I had access to the Google account but forgot to remove the device from my account beforehand, which complicated things. After resetting the Google password, I had to wait the mandatory 72-hour security window before the system recognized the new credentials. My advice would be to check if you're within this waiting period and, if so, retry logging in after the time passes. If that doesn't work, contacting Samsung support or using an authorized service center to bypass the FRP lock might be necessary.
