I am looking for a dashboard application for CM V8.7 in order to know the content of the ECM :

• Number of Itemtypes
• Itemtype names
• Access by itemptype
• content of workflows
• etc...

The Content Manager System Dashboard is available, but it does not provide the level of detail you are looking for. The ECM System Dashboard is provided in order to ensure that ECM licensing remains in compliance.

The type of metrics you're looking for are not available through any CM tool that I am aware of. You may be able to gather such metrics using SQL commands, but those are not provided out of the box, either.

With IBM ECM System Monitor (ESM) you cannot only proactively monitor your CM8 platform, but also collect metrics. Examples are:

• Workpackages per process – provides number of Packages / Items which are in a certain process
• Workpackages per worklist – different view on the Packages 
• Worknode Load Percentage – provides utilization of Nodes in a process, i.e. provides an indication where processes might be stuck
