Connection refused Error for JDBC Adapter Connection

    Hello Folks,

    We are using IS 6.1, with WmJDBC Version 6.0.3, running on windows XP.

    We are encountering this error whenever we try to enable the JDBC adpater connection:

    Error encountered
    [ART.118.5042] Adapter Runtime (Connection): Unable to enable connection resource Oracle_Connection_01.[ART.118.5036] Adapter Runtime (Connection): Unable to configure connection manager.[ADA.1.204] Cannot connect to the database with DataSource class “oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleDataSource”.Io exception: Connection refused(DESCRIPTION=(ERR=1153)(VSNNUM=169870336)(ERROR_STACK=(ERROR=(CODE=1153)(EMFI=4)(ARGS=‘(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=xxxxx.com)(PORT=1803))’))(ERROR=(CODE=305)(EMFI=1))))We tried installing the latest Classes12.zip, ojdbc14.jar,ojdbc14_g.jar in the libs/jars folder of IS.But everytime, we try to enable the connection, we face this error.Any help or guide will be helpful to resolve this.Thanks.

    Hello Friends,

    Got this issue resolved too. Downloaded the Latest Oracle Clients from Oracle web site, classes12.zip and ojdbc14.jar.
