  • 1.  Connect to Sql Azure Server

    Hi guys

    Right now i'm trying to connect cognos Analytics cloud to sql Azure database, but when i try to connect them, it's always failed. Does IBM Cognos Analytics Cloud have the connector with Sql Azure database ?, can anyone help me with this problem.

    Without any error information, unclear what your actual issue is.

    If you are trying to connect to Azure SQL DB or Azure SQL DW, I would expect the URL to be different. The admin console for the Azure databases provide the URL to use.

    Further, if your admin has set up firewall rules on Azure, then your connection error could be related to them not white listing the IP-address range that the CA servers are connecting from.

    Or are your trying to set up a secure gateway connection etc.
