  • 1.  Connect to MongoDB in PAW Docker Container

    Posted Wed September 20, 2023 09:23 AM
    Hi,
I am still relatively new to TM1. The last few days I have been working with the REST API. Thanks to documentation and some examples on the Internet, I quickly came to a result.
But now I want to access the Content Store to create a list of all available reports. However, I can't manage to access the mongoDB in the PAW Docker container. Does anyone have experience with this and can give me some advice on how to access the ContentStore?

    Many thanks in advance!

    Kind regards
    Philipp

accessing the underlying storage systems is not the way, there are Workspace api's for the content system though i'll need to follow up on what is public.

in the meantime, see if there is any IDEA (enhancement request) you can vote up or create a new one.
that will help us gauge demand in this area.

    Thanks Ted!

I have found an enhancement request that addresses a similar issue and voted accordingly. (https://ibm-data-and-ai.ideas.ibm.com/ideas/PAOC-I-240)

Furthermore I stumbled on something called IBM Planning Analytics Workspace UI API on github:

    https://ibm.github.io/planninganalyticsapi/#showing-a-widget

Unfortunately I wasn't able to reach the PAW-Containers API with default settings. Maybe some configuration is needed or something...

content store api isn't public, as you saw on the documentation site - but i'm in talks to advance the availability.
