  • 1.  Connect to Google Drive activity

    Hello everyone,

    I have a problem with this particular activity throwing system exception error during execution, not being able to connect to Google Drive account. I've registered the account in the Cloud app in Storage Providers and gave it rights to access it and the tenant is visible through the drop down menu of the activity. 

    Does anyone have a clue on that?

    Hi Stefan!

    Does the message only say that it's not able to connect to Google Drive, or does it give any more details? Could you provide more details on how the connection is failing exactly? I'm assuming it fails when you try to connect to the storage provider during a script execution in IBM RPA Studio right?

    Yes, that's correct. It's failing during execution through the Studio.

    Hi Stefan,

    I just tested it with a Google Drive connection of my own here and it's working just fine. Can you send me your studio code attempting to connect to Google Drive so I can check if anything is missing. No need to share the details to the G Drive connection itself, I just wanted to look at how the script looks.

    Hello once again and I'm sorry for the late response back.

    It appears that as of the last update the activity is now working just fine. I've tried it and no problems connecting. But how to download file for example, because I'm giving the link to the file and get exception with the message that no folder exists on the file storage.
