Hi,

I want to build a report for standalone expenses in Cognos 11 report studio. Basically, that report should provide claims which have that expense type standalone.

For example, if I run the report by expense type Taxi then report should provide only claim that have expense type "Taxi" as standalone and not combined with any other expenses. Let me know if that is possible , if yes how to set filter or query expression?

Hi Vivek,

In your query, you need to add a detail filter:

[Expense] should be replaced by your expense type column, and ?pExpense? is the parameter name you will use to be able to select one expense type each time you run your report.
