  • 1.  Configure salesforce connection

    Posted 05/08/19 03:58 AM

    Hello Team,

I have installed the IS version 10.3 and the webMethods Adapter for Salesforce v8.2.

When I try to Configure a new connection, I get the below error:

    Error encountered
[ART.118.5007] Adapter Runtime (Connection): Unable to get list of connection types for adapter type: WmSalesforceAdapter.
    null

I have gone through the salesforce adapter documentation and under the section “Installing Salesforce.com Adapter 8.2” it says that

"Make sure the WmTomcat package is enabled. For instructions, see the Integration Server administration guide for your release. See “About this Guide” for specific document titles. "

In webMethods IS 10.3, I can see that this package no more exist.

Has anyone come across this error or could help on this please?

    Thanking you in advance.

    Regards,
    Lutchumaya

    Hi,

You don’t need WmTomcat to setup SFDC connection.

This is what usually it’s advisable to do at the time the server is just provisioned:

    1. Ensure WmART apply with latest fix.
    2. Ensure WmSalesforce apply with latest fix.

To find out the root cause, please do the following:

    1. Enable TRACE for server logger for following subsystems:

    Adapter Runtime
    SCC Connection
    WmSalesforce

    1. Get and share the server and error log after trying to enable the connection

    2. Share the connection details.

    Regards,
    Mike
