    Hello everyone I am currently using IBM cognos version 11.2.4 , can anyone please guide on to configure global filters using the dropdown list visualization option such that when the user changes the values on the filters present in the first tab the values in the visualizations are simultaneously updated in the other tabs as well hence allowing the user to filter once only on the filters applied in the first tab

    Hi Priya,

    Dropdown lists sound perfect for this! You can't directly configure them as global filters, but you can set them as prompts to achieve the same effect. For instance, you could create a dropdown list with options like "All Products," "Baby Gift Baskets Canada," "Wedding Gifts," etc., to quickly filter your inventory. Let me know if you'd like some steps on how to do that.
