  • 1.  Compile CICS-DB2-COBOL program

    We are using the product Rational Development and Test for System z 9.0.

    Can you please let us know if there are JCL available in the system library to Compile,Link edit CICS-DB2-COBOL programs? Also let us know if BIND JCL is available under any system library.

    We don't provide generic JCL for Compile, Linkedit, Go, Debug of CICS, DB2, COBOL.  We do supply the latest version of the RDz server components.  The RDz client has the ability to generate JCL for programs being developed.  This is probably your best alternative.

    You should find the JCL procedures you need (uncustomized) in your CICS SDFHPROC data set.
