  • 1.  comparison in custom table (main and separate table)

    Posted 11/12/20 09:26 AM

    Hello, Team

The problem (error? bug?) is when I compare columns in CUSTOM TABLE in SEPARATE table (it's ok) and in the MAIN table - the results are not the same! Comparison in main table shows different letters from separate table. All other settings are equal, I change only way of showing results (main / separate table).

Earlier all was fine (the results were identical in the main and separate tables), but we do comparison in separate table for a long time and in the main table very rarely.

Is this a bug? All other functions work fine.. What can I do about it? Rebooting is not working. Reinstall is extreme for me because of many packeges are added to spss allready.

    Thanks in advance

PS: In addition I use spss statistics v22. When I change method of showing results its write different comments to tables as if its use different calculation method

I am puzzled about this. V22, if I recall correctly, did not offer the option of showing significance results in the main table except by using the APA style lettering, which is different from the lettering scheme used in the separate table. Perhaps you are using the SPSSINC MERGE TABLES extension command, but if not, please provide details of what you are doing.
