    Don't suppose there are any plans to release a community edition or one user license of SOAR? Such as is available for QRadar? I'd love to have the platform installed on my homelab for learning and development outside of work.

    I agree with Gareth. This would give me incentive to finally spin up a home lab.

    I've had a coworker on our Incident Response team ask if there was a community edition of IBM SOAR. He was hoping to put it in his home lab as well to get more experience with the product

    I agree, this would indeed be a nice addition. In addition to allowing for more at-home/lab innovation, it would also likely make the product more competitive and probably result in more community app contributions. We actually got into SOAR from a different SOAR platform's community edition.

    I have not heard about any plans to do this on SOAR standalone, but it's possible something like this could happen with Cloud Pak for Security. Other cloud paks offer a free trial and there is work ongoing for something similar in security. There is also an internal programme starting soon where temporary Cloud Pak instances are available to IBMers for educational purposes. I don't have much more information on it, but I have asked if this might become available to end users as well, i'll follow up if I hear any response.
