The last SLES version to support CTC-MPC was SLES 11. Starting with SLES 12, the open source driver for CTC was removed. There is no support in Linux for CTC currently.
The Communications Server for Data Center Deployment still has an MPC device shown because the SLES 11 was in support when it last released. However, it is now out of support.

Hello,
Ive been working on a project to get CS on SLES 12 SP 4 working over an MPC channel. However I have been running into problems where I cannot get the /dev/mpc0 group to show up. I've tried numerous thing's following the documentation to the T and it hasn't helped. Could someone more skilled in the subject of Linux on Z as far as the CTCM driver and why it won't create a device. I'd appreciate all the help I can get because I have fixed the ACF VTAM side and that's all good however the CS side I've been trying at for a week now with no success.
Thanks,
