Hi all,
We had this url working for a while now.
https://cognos.company.com/cognos/bi

However, since last week all of a sudden, it just spins and spins forever.
If we remove the /cognos/bi at the end and just use https://cognos.company.com/, it works fine and eventually redirects to the same full address above.

I tested with other browser like Chrome and it works there both ways.
It's an issue with Edge browser only and that's what company device has.
What could be the issue?

Hi Suraj,

I think you need to use https://cognos.company.com/cognos/bi/ instead of https://cognos.company.com/cognos/bi

Note I've added "/" to the last character of the original URL.

We have the same issue and I believe it's due to the most recent update to Edge v96.

It could be. It started around 2 weeks ago and in all environments at once.
Did you see if it works with other browsers?

What version of CA? if it is 11.1.7 and above then make sure to have FQDN is listed first in the hosts file.

Hi Suraj, 

We have faced the same problem with the browser upgraded to 96.x both with Chrome and Edge. If you are using the default home perspective, then try clearing the cache and cookies of the browser before accessing again. If you do not want to clear all cookies, you can first try in incognito/inprivate browser to see if it works there and if it does then search and clear only cognos cookie either from browser settings or using F12 developer tools.

We have the same issue and have gone back to using Internet Explorer until solved !
We are on 11.1. R4.

We found out that toggling the "Tracking prevention for this site (Balanced)", solved the issue.
This solution is however unusable.
