    ​Cognos R13 Report Viewr filter (Interacive mode )
    Filter option is (+ symbol) is not enable to enter specific value for DMR reports and it's show for relation reports.

    Any one is experiencing this .
     Does it bug or any setting needs to enable .pls share

    Hi Chandra,

    Thanks for posting on the community and letting us investigate your issue. 

    The functionality to manually add conditions from a DMR package is not included in Cognos Analytics 11. Since it did not exist before in C10 either, we suggest posting an RFE (request for enhancement) around this. This helps us gauge the market need for new features and functionality.

    @SAMI EL CHEIKH - Thanks for your reply . i did opened RFE ​.
    also i just want check with same interactive mode  cognos viewer filer is not getting showing correct records when we do with filter >create custom filter . For example in the report i have filter only five records and when i ran the report fetches 5 records , the moment i click filter >create custom filter . it gives all the records , it suppose to show only those 5 records . 

    i hope this function giving luxury to users can filter the records on fly  what ever report fetches but it's creation confusion .  i don't think it is expected behavior .

     pls see the attached an let us know your thoughts.

    @Chandra Medarametla Thank you for the response. 

    I looked into your question, and yes that is the case with the filter. It must be applied to the query item in order for the filter to take hold in interactive mode. The filter in interactive mode is a client side filter (not coded by the author) so you need to make sure your initial filter is written into the query rather than a filter is created within a report.

    If you would like different functionality from that, please post an RFE.
