    I hope that you and yours are all doing well.  To enhance Cognos visualizations, I recommend that you purchase the companies and integrate the functionalities of MapLarge and https://maplarge.com/ and Esri https://www.esri.com/ into Cognos.

    But seriously, how does one use the map base custom URL? what is the syntax expected? I can't find any info. Can I point to a WMS?

    Haha - you tell Big Blue how it is! A basic geospatial tool is essential these days. Compare for example Tableau or more advanced Qlik geospatial analytics out of the box. I have opened a ticket. Surprised that there is no documentation that is easily found for the custom base map.

    There are some manny tickets with very very good input on improving Cognos. Some of them are Years old with highest count from user input. Are they implemented NO..

    I stopped commenting or posting ideas, many of them you get a sales reply we are working on it. But never ever a true follow up.
    I think we are still waiting on a technical road map with what they are working on would be released very soon, (from March this year).
    5 months later,.......

    Most of the posts that are going in a more technical dept of what is missing or featuring stuf competitors have and Cognos doesn't are being silent to deaf. Hoping that if IBM does not respond the Topic maker will get tired and the post will drain away into forgotten pages in the forum.
