    Hi all,

    I am trying to get Cognos to email MS teams when scheduling a report. It only appears to work if the email body has some kind of formatting in it (this probably makes the email HTML encoded). If I just use a simple plain text the email doesn't appear in MS Teams.

    I know this is an MS Teams thing, as if I send the email to myself and MS Teams, the email comes through to me fine but not to MS Teams. Again, if I add some kind of formatting to the subject body, the email goes through fine to MS Teams.  

    Whilst not a Cognos issue - can anyone think of what could be causing this? Thanks.


    EDIT:
    I think this is Cognos default email encoding not being supported by MS Teams.
