Hi,
Yes, you can use the parameter provided in a prompt, in a boolean variable if its false set boxe type to none, if it is true leave box type as default.

Subject: Cognos Conditionally Show and Hide List Rows for Crosstab
Hi thank you for the help.
Instead adjust at the box type from the properties pane, I would like to create conditionally prompt so user can just select which columns data, they want to show or hide.

Hi,
You can use a variable with the box type set to none if the variable is true/false

Hope that helps :-)

Subject: Cognos Conditionally Show and Hide List Rows for Crosstab
Hi all,
We are using IBM Cognos Analytics with Watson (11.2.0).
I wanted to create the crosstab with conditionally show or hide rows so when user run the report, they can hide or show any rows for the crosstab.
Attached is my sample crosstab.

I have tried to create value prompt and render variable, but it can only apply on a column table, and not for crosstab. Attached is the example, but it cannot work on crosstab above.
Is there any other solution so user can select which rows they want to hide or show?
