Hi everyone, I'd like to copy a prompt page from one report to another. In the source report, I navigate to "Prompt pages" and copy the page to the clipboard. I then go to the other report, click on "Prompt pages" and click on "Paste", but nothing appears. Is it possible to somehow copy a prompt page? Thx so much in advance.

This should work easily. The process flow you follow may affect results.
This is how I do it, using CA 11.0.13​, but should be the same for you.

1. Open both reports in Report Studio (I'll call them Source and Target for clarity)
2. In the Source report, open the Pages tab, which has two lists of pages, Report pages and Prompt pages
3. Click on the folder labeled "Prompt pages". This should open a view of the pages list in the main body of the browser window.
4. In this View, right click on the Prompt page you want to copy and select "Copy".
5. Switch to the Target report tab
6. Again open the view of the Prompt pages as you did in the Target report.
7. Right click in the body of the browser window and select "Paste"
8. The page should be added to the list of Prompt pages in this report.
9. Save (!!) and edit as necessary

It works in CA 11.1.3  and Chrome as well. Earlier, it used to work only in IE. Only thing is to have same data module for source and Target report to make it work.

Thanks Opher and Buddhi. FYI, I don't believe I have access to ReportStudio, just trying to "edit report" in v11.1.5. Buddhi, both reports are using the same source, thanks. Opher, I opened 2 web browsers (both I.E.) and edited each report (source in one browser, target in the other browser), then followed step #s3-8 and it worked! I believe this is working because when I initially posted on this, I used Chrome. Now that I'm using I.E., I actually got a prompt in each I.E. browser that asked if I wanted to allow access to the clipboard and I clicked on "Allow". Thanks again for your help!
