    That's certainly a great question..... made for a great webinar topic and a friendly debate. I absolutely agree with the speakers on the session that at the end of the day - a programming language is best when used for the purpose it was built. COBOL has and continues to do a fantastic job in business transaction processing. The question I find myself asking is what is the reason to move from COBOL to Java? Is it that Java can do the task more efficiently? or is it because it is not easy to find COBOL Skills? Would love to hear from our community members - especially our young, early professional hires who are learning and working both or one of the programming languages.

    Do let us know your thoughts...... can't wait to hear all about it!
