  • 1.  Clustering IS'es

I need to know can we have 2 IS’es in the same cluster with one Node as 64-Bit IS and the other a 32-Bit IS. Can this be a possibility?

    Please advice.

    Hi,

even if this would be possible I do not consider this a real option.

Normally there will be either only 64bit nodes or only 32bit nodes.

Especially on Unix there is a must that all the nodes in a cluster need to be identical. During our last changes in this direction we had some difficulties related to the fact that the patches on both boxes were not in sync.

Please check with the wM Clustering Guide and the documentatíon of your clustering software.

    Regards,
    Holger
