  • 1.  Cluster Repository

    Posted Mon April 17, 2006 04:36 AM

    Hi everyone…

My question is related to the Repository for webMethods cluster.

Is it mandatory to have different repository schemas (DB repository) for different clusters? Putting it the other way around , can two different clusters have a common repository (same schema) ?

    Thanks,
    Gautam

I think we do need schema per cluster, if not anything we should be careful not to have any contention issues. I am sure when webMethods developed the repository code they never took this senario into consideration.

I had gone thru one of webMethods SR’s. webMethods is suggesting to use different DB repository for Cluster Repository Server.

In our environment we have one schema for one repository cluster. This recomendation was given by webMethods.
