Hi All,

i have three appliaction servers in a cluster.Now i want to allow the request to two application servers only.I dont want to allow the request for the third application server.

As a administrator which process need to follow to ristrict the request for the third app server

Please suggess me...

You can just stop the  3rd jvm  and remove it form the plugin( if you have one). Or change the weight on the 3rd jvm to zero.

  In addition to previous suggestions, if the objective is f.e a limited outage of the server for maintenance purpose. You can put the third JVM in backup server role, the plugin automatically will redirect all the requests to other two cluster members. You only need to change the role and propagate the plugin
 
  To take in mind with this approach: you need to be sure that the other cluster members health is good and that they can take all the workload.
