Working on a technical requirement block as part of CLP4Auto installs, thought to post in this forum here to see what other experts suggest. The install documentation still needs a lot of improvement particularly for AirGap installations. What products/features in CloudPaks for Automation require "ReadWriteMany" access mode for persistent storage? what options available for enterprise installs in AWS when EFS is not an option?

Hi Vishy,

I believe that most of the components within CP4Auto require RWX. ElasticSearch and mongo do not. What I always use on AWS is OCS. Easy to install from within the operatorhub, but it is a bit resource hungry, and needs separate licensing. What also works is open source ceph, but that's a bit of a support concern, of course.  You may also find other options in the "storage" section of operatorhub, but I haven't really used any of them.
