Hello,

we have created an Idea concerning better (declarative) formatting for Universal Reports.

At the moment, as soon as a report becomes a bit more complex - especially with mixed element types (Leaf / Consolidated), different hierarchy levels or multiple stacked dimensions on rows and/or columns - formatting quickly turns into a maintenance problem. Users end up managing a growing number of Excel Conditional Formatting rules and priorities instead of working with clear business-oriented formatting logic.

This is one of the remaining gaps compared to the old Active Form Format Area approach and still holds some organisations back from fully adopting Universal Reports.
