@Hector Speight
We have been informed that we can only view the file and not download it from e-curep. We are asking for alternatives to reach out. While we do that, I want to ask if you are okay with sending the file via email or an IBM box folder.
Thanks.

Hi Aditya
Unfortunately the file belongs to the customer so we cannot attach here.
Is there any way we can send to you securely?
Hector

We have a specific file that is causing the clamdscan daemon to crash.
The file is quite small (less than 1MB).
The only message we see before the crash is "no reply from clamd".
No core dump is being produced.
we have tried using --debug but that is an unsupported option.
The same behaviour is seen with versions 1.0.7 & 1.4.3 on both 7.2 TL5 SP8 & 7.3 TL2 SP3.
Is it possible for us to upload the file to ECuRep for assistance?
