I hope that your day is going well.  There is a possibility that the previous Custom Java Authentication Provider (CJAP) may not be compatible with version 11.1.7, we need to download the latest SDK/CJAP template and documentation.  We import each particular Cognos user's role and group credentials from the SQL database to the Cognos authentication namespace using the CJAP.  Our system enforces strict discretionary access rules based on each user's credentials.  This is a basic operational use of our Cognos system.  I would like to perform a simple "Hello World" test to ensure that we have the proper environment to execute, modify, backup, and deploy the CJAP in the future.  I simply need the compatible CJAP template,  instructions on setting up the appropriate JRE, and components required to verify successful tests.
