I can delete the file in question from both AIX and Windows, do a vi filename but when I attempt :wq in vi to save I get a "A file descriptor does not refer to an open file." error.

I can use the CIFS share for any other filename.

    I'm running AIX 5.3 TL5 SP5

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Also trying to unmount the filesystem, fails with:
There was an error with the unmount.
How did you solve this problem?
