  • 1.  Chrome, Edge, and Firefox error with 11.1.7 InterimFP3

    Hello,

     

    I upgraded to 11.1.7 InterimFP3 and receive an error when starting a new report or editing an existing report via Chrome Version 89.0.4389.82, Edge Version 85.0.564.67, and firefox version 86.   I was able to get IE working once I changed the following settings in IE:

    Internet options > general tab > settings (browsing history) > Temporary Internet Files tab > set to 'Every time I visit the webpage'

    Is anyone else having an issue with 11.1.7 InterimFP3 and browsers?  Does anyone know what settings may need changed in Chrome, Edge, and/or Firefox?

    Hi Beth, 

    The IE setting you mentioned is related to caching. If that worked then try accessing Cognos in chrome Incognito or Edge Chromium Inprivate browser and see if you still see any problem. It could be a cached cookie from your earlier access that is creating a problem.
