The automation script (WAL) that uses bot commands to implement a chat dialog as part of the automation is currently exposed using MS Azure Bot Service. This is something that our WDG/IBM support need to do for you. Once they have created the service for you, they will also map the service to your WDG tenant. Then it appears as a "bot" that you can use to make a
Chat Mapping, where you actually tie together the Azure Bot Service created for you and the automation script you developed and published to your tenant. When doing the chat mapping, you can also define the computer(s) / runtime(s) responsible to run your automation script when ever your exposed script is triggered.
"Exposing" can be done to your own web application using the exposed URL or it can be integrated to several different channel applications (Slack, Facebook, Teams, etc.) using the Azure Bot service configurations. So, if you need your chatbot connected to a certain channel app, you need to provide the connections details to WDG/IBM support when they configure the Azure Bot Service for you.
Yep, might sound a bit complicated, but really is quite easy :) Happy to help out if someone wants to test that out ππ»

Subject: Chat bot implementation
How is a chatbot URL exposed to other users? How is the underlying bot scheduled to run when the user hits the URL?
