  • 1.  CDC Access server compatibility Aix vs RHEL8

    Hello,

    We are planning the the usage of CDC v11.4 with remote source and target -type of configuration. Access server would be RHEL8 (x86-64) containing the source and target engines. Our source Db2 LUW is running in AIX. I had discussion that Access server need to be Aix as source Db2 platform is Aix, but I cannot find any hits to confirm this.

    If anyone is experienced please comment.

    Not sure why Access server on needs to be on AIX. Our setup has an AIX DB2 DB being replicated to MS SQL Server and MGMT Console, Access Server and SQL Server all reside on Windows
