Hello! I am in need of assistance in determining how to select the correct Group Indicator for Case-Control Matching.

I have one database that contains two different groups: Semester 1 student GPAs being the control group and Semester 2 student GPAs being the treatment group.  There are 80 different participants in each group. I want to match Semester 1 and Semester 2 By Gender & High School GPA to determine if the treatment in Semester 2 had an impact on GPA.

In the Case-Control Matching window, I have determined:

    Variables to Match on:

    Gender

    High School GPA

    Match Tolerances:

    0 .15

    Group Indicator:

    Course Grade......is this correct?

    Case ID:

    ID

    Names for Match ID Variables:

    Match_ID

    Name for Matchgroup Variable:

    MGV

I believe that the control group/supplier cases is Semester 1 and I set at Value 0 and,

that the participants/demander case is Semester 2 and I set at Value 1.

Ultimately, I want to determine if the treatment in Semester 2 increased course grades. How do this test set-up correctly? I receive an error message that says:

    Thank you!
