I would like to print several wm documents, B&W,; double-sided. When I print the documents the printer hangs-up on the page that starts each chapter. Printing works with the “print as image” option, however, the print rate is 1 page per minute. At this rate it would take 8-10 hours to print the typical wm document.

I got the same behavior on 3 different high-end HP printers. The documents print ok on my old HP2P, but this is single sided only.

It appears that the postscript formatting of the start-of-chapter page causes the hangup.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Try upgrading to Adobe Reader 6.0. http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
