Can't find the database from Schema Editor

  • 1.  Can't find the database from Schema Editor

    Posted Sun November 09, 2003 12:50 AM

    Hi,

When I have a schema, and want to define that schema for a database. From Database->Define Schema menu, I can’t see any database, even I type database name and login/passwd.

Is anything wrong on setup? Can it be HTTP server problem or Directory server problem?

I can run System Management Hub though.

    Thanks a lot!

    Frank

First I would check if the database server name is typed correctly, for example: http://localhost/tamino or http://www.myxyz.zz/tamino

    Note: tamino with little “t”.

    Hi,
I too have the same problem. The error message is:

The connection to the server can’t be established.

[Details: unexpected end of file from server]

    Some more details:

    Tamino version 4.1.4.1
Tamino server is on: Redhat Enterprise Linux Advanced Server2.1
Tamino Schema Editor: 4.1.4.3 running on Windows XP.
I use the Apache of the Linux, I am able to connect to my tamino server normally and I am able to run Tamino Manager as usaual.

    Can anyone please help??

    Best Regards,
    Gopal.
