I'm trying to upgrade LMT server to 9.2.28 but I'm facing an issue with the reported DB2 version.

BigFix Console reports DB2 version 10.5.0.3 (the previously used version) while it was updated to 11.5 back in October to fullfilled a previous LMT upgrade.

From commande line, the version reported is 11.5 :

# db2level

Informational tokens are "DB2 v11.5.6.0", "s2106111000", "DYN2106111000AMD64",

I cannot find whether I've missed something during DB2 upgrade to 11.5 or if it's Bigfix that is failling for some reason.

I cannot find any informative log either.

Do you have any idea/pointer to help me find out where the issue could be ?

Hi, where is the BigFix console reporting DB2 version 10.5.0.3? Is it when you try to upgrade ILMT using the “Upgrade to the latest version of IBM License Metric Tool (9.2.28.0)” fixlet?

If so let me know the results when you check the “Upgrade to the latest version of IBM License Metric Tool (9.2.28.0)” fixlet relevance against the ILMT server:

The wrongly reported version appears in the "All Content">"Computers" view. I added the "DB2 Version" on the right panel by using the "Column Picker".

I already tried to run the "Upgrade to the latest version of IBM License Metric Tool (9.2.28.0)” fixlet but it ended with an "Not Relevant" status.

All 8 relevances are "True" in the "Results" tab of the analysis.

I've just upgraded BigFix server to 10.0.7.52 release.

FYI, I think DB2 version reporting is the issue as stated in the "Upgrade to the latest version of IBM License Metric Tool (9.2.28.0)" fixlet :

DB2 10.5 is no longer supported. The fixlet will not be relevant if the version of the database that is detected is too old.

Hi, you could try upgrading ILMT manually using the “Download IBM License Metric Tool” fixlet.

To continue troubleshooting why BigFix is reporting the old version of DB2 please open a case with ILMT support.

Manually updating LMT worked, thank you.

FYI, the "DB2 Version" field is now displaying "<error>". I will open a support case as suggested.
