Cannot install Infravio X-Registry 6.6 with WebSphere 6.0.2

    We succeeded in installing Infravio with Jboss/Hsql, but failed to configure it with Websphere 6.0.2. Our failure point was with the following command:

    product-config deploy-registry

    There are some apparent errors in "webMethods Infravio X-Registry Installation Guide, version 6.6 May 2007), but the install fails even when these errors are corrected.

    Issue 1: product-config deploy-registry (failure)
    WASX7318E received exception while declaring AdminControl
    The system could not find the file %cd%\logs\wsadmin.valout

    Issue 2: documentation error
    p 50, para 9, item d
    INFRAVIO-PORTAL should be INFRAVIO-LIFERAY

    Issue 3: documentation error
    p 56, The first para reads:
    Click the (Custom properties) link …
    That para should read:
    Click the (User Registry > Custom) link …

    Issue 4: Cannot stop WAS server with stopServer.bat because Websphere Global Security is enabled, but Console Administrator is not defined. The documentation does not specify anything about defining Console Administration

    Issue 5: verify-https-connection

    VERIFYING HTTPS CONNECTION

    Error getting https://:9084/registry/soap to
    D:\EXE\INFRAVIO\X-Rregistry\registry\temp\set-owner.html

    BUILD FAILED
    Unrecognized SSL message, plaintext connection?
