  • 1.  Cannot install ansible on AIX 7.2

    Hi Team,

    I tried to install ansible (yum install ansible) on a AIX 7.2 LPAR (7200-05-05-2246) and I am getting the following message:

    Error: Package: ansible-core-2.14.13-1.noarch (AIX_Toolbox_noarch)
               Requires: (ansible >= 7.2.0 if ansible <= 2.9.25)

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for the link; you made my day. I have done everything that is mentioned in it, and now everything is working well for me.     Hi, you might want to also check this Blog too as it steps you through moving from yum to dnf.
