    Hi Guys,

Hope you all are doing good.

Here's a confusing question for which I need an exact answer (did not find the answer on google)

Can I install WAS ND V8.5 on a machine (unix box) where WAS ND V7 is already installed?

Waiting for your answers people. Thanks in anticipation!

    Regards
    Tousi

    Hi Tousi,

Absolutely yes!!! I have WAS ND V6.1, V7, V8 and V8.5 in the same box.

You can install without problems you only need to install in other directory (f.e WebSphere/AppServer/V7 and /V85)

If you create a server you only need to take in mind to use differents ports to avoid port conflicts.

Hope this helps. Tell us if you need more support

    Regards

    Thanks Gabriel!

Thats what I too had thought of .. but it seemed like the version collision would not be allowed by WAS. Hence the doubt :)

    Anyways thanks again!
