  • 1.  Can link icons be combined?

    I have a series of activities that are executed multiple times in a process. I use links to connect to this series:


    Is there a method by which these multiple link icons can be consolidated into a single link icon?

    Hi Tony,

    There isn't.  You could reduce the number of Link Events by merging lines via a gateway. That could reduce the number of Link Events, but you'd end up with an extra element in your diagram and it might not help you much if you have many long lines.

    Have you considered creating a small process blueprint for the repeated steps and then using it as a linked process when required by your main process?

    I have so considered. I chose not to do so because I wanted the details of the repeated process visible on the main diagram.
