  • 1.  Calling Authentication mechanism from Mapping Rule

    Posted 04/29/20 10:10 AM
    Hi,

I have done OTP functionality by configuring branching authentication policies(https://www.ibm.com/blogs/sweeden/branching-authentication-policy-isam-advanced-access-control/).

Is there any way to call authentication policy again from OTP mapping rules.

    Please help !!

    Hello Mahi

within a mapping rule you can have an http callout and invoke any service that the runtime can connect to , so potentially also call an authentication policy hosted locally by specifying the Policy ID in query string portion of the calling url, however I do not think it is of much use in this way as you should handle the redirect and handle the state id and so on .. all this within the mapping rule ( if ever fully possible)  , can you better clarify your requirement / use case ?
