There is a KPI Widget in a report I am modifying that has perspectives that I do not see as fields in any tables.  I am trying to review the calculations behind these perspectives but the Edit Perspective option does not seem to help.  I am trying to find fields in my tables that match the perspective names, but am not having success.  It is my understanding that when a perspective is created by a field from a table, the perspective name can be changed from the field name (perhaps this is why I cannot find the field in my tables).  For example, I see a perspective called % Strategic Vendors in my KPI widget.  I see the % Strategic Vendors perspective but I cannot find a field in any of my tables called % Strategic Vendors.  How can I see the calculations behind this perspective?

I have a related question to my initial post.  Your suggestion to pull the perspective inside a table in the report to see the formula was very helpful.  I need to change the formula behind one of the perspectives.  If I highlight the column in the table and chose data, edit, modify the formula and update, the formula is not saved.  How do I edit a formula behind a perspective when I cannot find a metric or a table field corresponding to the perspective?

Hey Jeanne Grzelak, if you click the formula button (fx) to the left of the formula bar, you should be able to edit and save the formula in the dialogue box that appears. However, this just changes the formula for the column. If you want to have the updated formula as a perspective you will have to publish it again.

Thank you @Keane Riley!!   I was able to drag the perspective into an existing table in the report and see the formula!
