  • 1.  C++ for AIX V11.1

    Hello - I have a customer that needs to use C++  Complier for AIX V11.1 - I know is withdrawn - Customer would like to procure the latest version  (V17) but would like to know if he will be allowed to use V11.1 and also where can I download V11.1 for AIX ..

    Your guidance is appreciated ..

    Hi  Sandton, 

    Does this customer already hold the license of XL C/C++ Compiler?    Which Power hardware and which AIX O.S version are they using? 

    V11.1 is very old and we don't offer its download anymore.  Have they used XL C/C++ Compiler before,  if yes, which version?  V11.1 and the latest V17.1.x are based on totally different compiler infrastructure.   

    We need to understand the background more then see how can help here.  Thanks.
