    Hi Paul,

Thank you for the presentation. It clarified a couple of items for me. How did you remove the second quick report (around 22 minutes into the presentation)?

The IBM documentation indicates you need to:
    1. In the Task Pane, Workbook tab, expand Quick Reports.
    2. Locate the Quick Report you want to delete.
    3. Right-click the Quick Report you want to delete and select Convert to snapshot.
    4. Click Yes.
    5. Delete the rows and columns.
I do not see you right-clicking the quick report and following the steps above.

If I follow the steps above, it does not delete the server formatting in the report. But in the recording, it does not look like you followed these steps and the formatting is removed.

    Regards, Jackie

    Hi Jackie,

Those instructions are correct. It might have not been obvious in the recording. Converting to snapshot and deleting the columns will get rid of any trace of the Quick Report. It's possible those steps were edited out for time, but that's indeed how it's done.

    Hi, Paul
Thanks for the presentation. It is helpful but I have a quick question.
In your demos, I noticed that almost every TM1 formula has an "@" sign in the front. But I can't show it in my PAfE. How did you do that? And what is the difference of whether or not showing this "@" sign in the reports?

    Hi Morgan,

That's an implicit intersection operator introduced to support dynamic arrays in Excel for Microsoft 365 which is an indicator where a dynamic array may occur.

In simple terms, this operator restricts the automatic spilling of the formula to a range, returning only one item where you're applying the formula or even a named range returning an array of values, thus giving more power to the user to control the default behaviour of excel formulas. You may read more on that in the below link:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/implicit-intersection-operator-ce3be07b-0101-4450-a24e-c1c999be2b34

I really like the new functionality of dynamic arrays and really hope it also gets supported in TM1 Web sooner than later.

We have a client where an Office 365 based user is also getting @ signs in front of PAX based TM1 formulae. It appears that it's breaking the worksheets as well.

Excel shouldn't have placed that operator in PAfE formulas to begin with as none of the these returns any ranges..

The "@" sign refer to Dynamic Arrays. You may not be seeing them based on the Office version.
There should be no impact on TM1 functions and do not think that the TM1 functions will use the "spill" capabilities either.

See dynamic arrays for more information.

    Hey Morgan,
The "=@" sign is added automatically by Excel if you're using a newer version that supports dynamic formulas.
