Hi, 
    I've been having issues with SPSS 28 since I installed (and reinstalled) it in the spring. I have a syntax file that I've used for years. Once it's run, it should leave two output data files open. After installing v28, it leaves 2 copies of each of the files open. I'm using a PC, and if I hover my cursor over the application on the task bar, I can see the 4 files, but it does not allow me to "x" out of them. If I select one of the files, SPSS freezes and I have to exit by cancelling the application through the task manager. When I leave the files where they are and run the program again on a different dataset, the files continue to duplicate. 

Does anyone have an idea of what might be going on here?

Hi. Before anything else, I want to make sure you are using the latest release of 28 (28.0.1.1).

The reason I say this is because a bug was fixed in the dot release that sounds like this (files in the taskbar that "aren't really there").
