Hi Guys,

I am upgrading from Broker 8.2.1 to 9.6.

As per documentation I see this as 2 steps. (page 34 of the upgrade guide 9.6)

1)8.2 upgrade : migrate Broker assets from XML to ADL.
2) create Broker server 9.6 and use old storage.

So I have created the 9.6 broker server and reconfigured it to use the old storage(8.2.1).The 9.6 broker starts fine and I can connect IS/deployer to the broker and it has all the assets that exists in 8.2.1.

where does the first step fit in. there some info abt deploying assets from 8.2.1 to 8.2.3 first (as 8.2.1 stores broker assets as xml abd 8.2.3 and 9.6 as ADL )and then to deploy into 9.6 broker. but my 9.6 broker has all the assets already when i do the step 2 .Am i missing something. ?

Also the MWS messaging user interface 8.2.3 export and import into 9.6 MWS messaging user interface.( this mentioned as part of step 1 as well )
