while installing the broker it was asking for the 6849 port already occupied by other service chage the port,after that i chaged the port i was installing the broker software with the following error
java.lang.nullpointerexception
and also i was not able to see the broker in the windows sevices.
please find the attached screen shots…for more exact error…

Some broker configuration files from a previous installation of Broker still exist. Usually this occurs when you are running Broker on Windows. I believe that the files are in a “webMethods” folder in the windows\system32 directory, but please lookup this issue on Advantage.
