hi,

I am trying to install BPMS 9.10 version on Linux, during install step, it is trying to connect to empower for fixes and keep on displaying the messages instead of taking the input from the user,not able to upload the diagnostics due to size limits of 4mb:

the need for a log file is obsolete - there is a bug in the package which did not show up during internal testing.
We will provide a new package for download asap.

by today a new version of the package is available for download.
It is sufficient to download, unzip, setenv, and run “grexec BpmsTrial -setup”.
There is no need to remove installation before.

Hi,

i have some problems installing bpms webMethods free trial.
I tried to install it under Windwos 10pro with an Oracle 11g Release 2 Database Express Edition.

I downloaded the .zip file and extracted it in a directory different from the future installation directory.
I executed (as admin) setenv.bat.
I changed the config.properties as schown in the attachements.
Than i executed “grexec BpmsTrial -setup”. The installation runs quite a while till it exits with failure.
The installLog says installation succeeded, but it is not.

It seems the changes i made to the setup file are not taken to account, and bpms tries to edit database with admin_user dbadmin in a sql server db.

Would be kind if you can help me.
